Hello Everyone,
I don’t know what to call this day, as today is going make history ( I don’t think it would be a good one). Donald Trump will be sworn in as the 45th President of United States of America. Being half Indian/ half Pakistani, I am not too sure how to respond to that. But I only hope all the disrespectful things he said last year and the racist comments he made are only just words. I hope we survive the next 4 years in peace. With that being said, let’s change the topic to something that would make you feel better if you are on the same page as I am. A lot of you loved this outfit when I posted it on Snapchat and my last Fashion Haul video from SHEIN so I decided to write a separate blog on it since I rather be blogging than watching the inauguration.
I absolutely loved how it looked with all the random pieces together as I wanted to go for that classy look and at the same time be able to justify my motto “Look like a million bucks without spending a million bucks”. Can you believe altogether the entire outfit cost me less than $ 50 except my bag? It’s perfect for those date nights and business events. One can even wear it during a brunch or evening out with their girls. I just think it’s simple yet trendy.
SWEATER: SHEIN
The sweater is of course from SHEIN as I mentioned earlier it was one of the sweaters I talked about in the Fashion Haul Video I recently uploaded on YouTube. If you haven’t already, please check it out as I talk about all the sweaters I got from the website. CLICK TO VIEW. I love the fabric as it’s made of a super soft and high-quality material. I love the net detailing and the ruffles on the sleeves give it that Expensive Unique look.
SKIRT: ( Similar Shape and Price)SHEIN
I paired the sweater with this floral skirt I had previously bought from ROSS for roughly about 9 bucks so it was a steal :). It went perfectly with the sweater. I personally love high waisted skirts that come up to about knee length as you can wear them anywhere and everywhere including business events. Almost any fitted skirts or jeans would go with this sweater perfectly! I wore my Alex and Ani bracelets with this outfit because again the gold color gives it the expensive look and also to add the pop of color I added the bright red YSL Clutch/bag. You can use any red clutch/bag you like and it will still look the same. I just don’t have any other red clutch like that.
I wanted to keep my shoes in Nude color and these heels went perfectly with what I was trying to get at. These also have gold studs on then which matched my bracelets and earrings. Their design is very similar to Valentino Heels. However, these are from Nine West. I bought them from ROSS a long time ago when this design was the new big deal. I still love them a lot 🙂 I bought it for like 25 Bucks.
